Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to helping individuals and families navigate challenges in their lives. As a Social Worker, you will provide support, guidance, and resources to clients while advocating for their needs within the community. This role requires excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments to determine clients' needs and develop individualized service plans.
  • Provide counseling and support to clients facing personal, social, or economic challenges.
  • Connect clients with appropriate community resources and services.
  • Advocate for clients rights and needs within social service systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress in accordance with confidentiality policies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, schools, and other organizations to coordinate care and support for clients.
  • Participate in case management meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams.
  • Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in social work.
Experience
  • A Bachelors or Masters degree in Social Work (BSW or MSW) from an accredited institution is required.
  • Previous experience in a social work setting is preferred but not mandatory; internships are welcome.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.
  • Knowledge of community resources available for clients is beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
