The Ministry of Community Safety is on the lookout for dedicated individuals who can adapt and communicate effectively with youth offenders. An 11-week paid Induction Training Program will be provided to equip you for addressing the diverse needs of youth. The role entails using strong judgment and teamwork to foster positive behavioral changes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the safety and security of youth in custody
• Conduct assessments and provide counseling
• Manage cases and deliver educational programs
• Support positive behavioral rehabilitation
• Respond to incidents with effective risk management
Requirements:
• Degree or education in social sciences or law enforcement
• Knowledge of risk assessment and intervention
• Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's Licence
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED certifications
• Strong interpersonal and judgment skills
