- EGADZ requires Youth Workers interested in Full Time, Part Time, or Casual shifts for select Programs within EGADZ.
(Shift Work Is Required Daytime/Evenings/Weekends/Awake Overnights).
EGADZ is an inter‑agency, non‑profit organisation whose purpose is providing services for hard‑to‑serve youth in Saskatoon with the mission to encourage and support them to make choices that improve their quality of life.
Fusion is a semi-independent living model that supports mature youth aged 16-21. The program offers youth who are willing to engage, in‑house skill building training, access to employment, on the job training and support and guidance with navigating this critical stage of their lives.
Qualifications:- Post-secondary education in the human services field, equivalent experience or a combination of both
- Demonstrate and practice a healthy lifestyle
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with youth, staff and partnering agencies while maintaining strict confidentiality and appropriate boundaries
- Ability to express ideas and concepts effectively in an oral and written form
- Working knowledge of computers/windows
- Knowledge of Indigenous cultures and issues
- A good understanding of EGADZ and our mission
- Training in CPR and ASIST an asset
- A valid Class 5 drivers license with a safe driving record - A Driver's Abstract is Required
- Criminal records Check
Starting Wage $24.27/hr
