Advance the health of Métis citizens as a Wellness Navigator with the Métis Nation-Saskatchewan. Facilitate access to mental health and addiction services within a supportive community framework.
As a full-time Wellness Navigator, secure vital connections for individuals seeking mental health support until March 31, 2028. You will assess needs, collaborate with service providers, and contribute to a comprehensive resource network aimed at improving health outcomes in Saskatchewan. Your efforts will promote continuity of care and enhance overall community wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver culturally informed support to clients
• Assess needs for tailored service connections
• Foster collaboration with healthcare providers
• Regularly update mental health service inventories
• Ensure confidentiality of client records
Requirements:
• Education in Human Services or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of public systems navigation
• Effective communication skills required
• Valid Saskatchewan driver's license mandatory
• Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check required
