Ground Zero Youth Worker

Position: Ground Zero Youth Worker Role
Take on the role of Youth Worker with EGADZ at Ground Zero, focusing on outreach and transitional housing for youth in Saskatoon. This position requires flexibility with shifts, including evenings and overnights.

As a key member of the EGADZ team, you will provide impactful services for at-risk youth, encouraging positive life choices. The ideal candidates are those who can build trust and rapport, combining education in human services with a caring approach. Your work will directly contribute to essential support and advocacy for youth in need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer emergency response and planning assistance

• Advocate for youth in justice and housing matters

• Provide long-term support for housing solutions

• Develop strong relationships with youth and community agencies

• Uphold confidentiality and respect boundaries

Requirements:

• Educational background in human services or equivalent

• Proven healthy lifestyle and empathetic demeanor

• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record

• Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector

• Knowledge of Indigenous cultures is a plus
