Android Software Developer at Motive

Location: North Battleford

Transform the mobile experience at Motive as an Android Software Developer. In this remote role, you'll design and manage features using Java and Kotlin to optimize our user-friendly applications.

As a core member of the Motive team, your role will center on the development of a world-class Android app, with responsibilities extending to enhancing existing features like GPS and Bluetooth functionalities. The ideal candidate will have extensive Android experience, focusing on both architecture and user experience to ensure seamless performance and high code readability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and launch fresh features for our Android application

• Enhance functionalities including Geofencing and Camera APIs

• Work with product teams to finalize feature specifications

• Communicate API needs with back end engineers

• Analyze user data to debug and improve the app

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of Android app development

• Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin

• Understanding of application design paradigms

• Experience with automated app testing

• Interest in the commercial vehicle sector is advantageous
