Drive for impact with the National Diabetes Trust as a Charitable Donation Pickup Driver. Collect and deliver essential household items, all while supporting a vital cause.
In this role, you will report to the Operations Manager and operate under established routes to gather donated clothing and household goods from various locations. Your work will be pivotal in promoting the objectives of the National Diabetes Trust and ensuring smooth logistics as you manage daily pickups and paperwork.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive established routes for donations collection
• Conduct safety inspections before and after trips
• Complete daily paperwork and service logs
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and donors
• Unload merchandise according to instructions
Requirements:
• Full Class 5 (or G) license with clean abstract
• Minimum 5 years of driving experience
• Strong map reading and organizational skills
• Ability to lift weights from 10 to 50 lbs
• Effective communication skills are essential
