Experienced Process Operator in Cigar Lake

Cameco is hiring a skilled Senior Process Operator for its Cigar Lake operations. This role emphasizes safe operations and effective management of various process circuits.

As part of Cameco’s dedicated team, you will ensure the smooth functioning of operations while supporting junior personnel. The position requires more than five years of experience in process operations, with preference given to candidates in the uranium field. You'll be documenting maintenance issues, mentoring peers, and performing essential equipment upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate process circuits according to strict protocols

• Report maintenance concerns with accuracy

• Train and mentor newer operations staff

• Maintain equipment and ensure operational readiness

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent

• A minimum of five years in process or mill operations

• Class 5 driver's license required

• Comfortable working both surface and underground

• Willingness to adhere to a rotational schedule and travel by aircraft
