Equipment Operator II in North Battleford

Location: North Battleford

Join the City of North Battleford as an Equipment Operator II in the Roadway Department. Operate diverse light and heavy equipment to maintain and enhance local roadways.

This full-time position reports to the Roadways Supervisor and requires a minimum of two years' experience operating heavy equipment. You'll perform seasonal maintenance, repairs, and assist other departments as needed. Additionally, participate in an on-call emergency response schedule and work some overtime when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate various equipment for roadway maintenance tasks

• Perform seasonal repairs and construction work as assigned

• Assist with emergency response during after-hours

• Maintain equipment and ensure operational readiness

• Support other departments with additional tasks

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or GED equivalent

• Valid Saskatchewan Class 3A with G endorsement

• Minimum 2 years heavy equipment operating experience

• Ability to operate at least 6 different types of equipment

• Criminal Record Check upon hire
