Position: NSC Minerals Railcar Loader Role

Take on the Railcar Loader role at NSC Minerals Ltd., responsible for loading railcars with salt while ensuring safety and equipment compliance at our transload facilities. This position is ideal for those who enjoy working in a hands-on, outdoor environment.

In this role, you will operate key equipment, including belt conveyors and rail switches, while following all Standard Operating Procedures. Your responsibilities will include accurate record-keeping, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring optimal loading capacities. We seek adaptable candidates with a strong focus on safety and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow SOPs for safe loading operations

• Operate conveyor and rail loading equipment effectively

• Record railcar information and note contaminants

• Clean up salt spills and monitor dust collection

• Engage in regular safety training and toolbox discussions

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in heavy industry operations

• Previous railcar handling experience preferred

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation

• Able to work in various weather conditions
