Access Transit Operator

This position under ATU 615 involves safely operating an accessible bus while contributing to the well-being of passengers with disabilities. Candidates must possess a Saskatchewan Class 4 Driver’s License and have experience in public transit, emphasizing safety, courtesy, and customer service daily.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate accessible bus in various conditions safely

• Assist passengers boarding and exiting the vehicle

• Collect fares and provide service information

• Perform routine safety checks and reports

• Communicate effectively with booking and scheduling teams

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education required

• Three years of public transit experience

• Two years in customer service roles

• Knowledge of Saskatoon’s geography and transit procedures

• Valid Saskatchewan Class 4 Driver’s License
