This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in the waste management sector while contributing to eco-friendly practices. You will assist in the collection of refuse, support vehicle safety, and ensure operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect waste and recyclables from designated areas
• Facilitate safe vehicle operation during collection
• Operate compaction equipment onboard the truck
• Inspect and prepare vehicle equipment prior to use
• Maintain professional appearance and demeanor on the route
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED desired
• 1-3 months of experience or training preferred
• Valid driver's license is a plus
• Must meet safety function standards
• Ability to present a professional image
