As a vital member of the Island Gold District team, focus on the underground operations for Alamos Gold in northern Ontario. This position requires a Grade 12 education and basic NORCAT training modules for underground work. You'll prioritize the organization of deliveries, maintain truck cleanliness, and effectively communicate with dispatch during your shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport materials as directed in the underground

• Deliver ore and waste accurately to designated locations

• Maintain a clean truck box on a daily basis

• Safely conduct back haul for roadbed maintenance

• Report equipment locations and material loads to the supervisor

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education completion

• Basic core modules from NORCAT required

• Ability to prioritize and organize for maximum efficiency

• Must lift 25 lbs comfortably

• Work on a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule
