This role focuses on safety and effective transport of passengers within Moose Jaw. As a Transit Operator, you will maintain schedules, operate city-owned vehicles, and communicate via two-way radio. Ensuring cleanliness and vehicle maintenance are also key responsibilities in delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate City-owned vehicles safely and efficiently

• Transport passengers while adhering to schedules

• Communicate with the public using a two-way radio

• Report maintenance needs of assigned vehicles

• Clean and service transit vehicles and equipment

Requirements:

• Must hold a Grade 12 education

• Class 2A driver’s license required for city insurance

• Ability to assist handicapped patrons when necessary
