Harv Wilkening Transport Ltd., requires Independent Contractors for our domestic Fleet domiciled in AB, SK and MB. This position is running Open Dispatch, 10 days on and up to 4 days off.
Responsibilities   Pickup and delivery of freight in a safe and efficient manner
Handle freight and freight documents
Perform Pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks
Professional communication with customers
Ensure 100% compliance with safety
Perform all other duties as requested
DUTIES WILL VARY TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE OPERATION
We Offer   Compensation:
Earn up to $2.60/mile
Other Compensation:
Paid Orientation, and Achievable Safety Bonus - Paid Three Times per Year

Qualifications   Class 1A drivers license
Minimum 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience
Must own your own truck (5 years or newer)
LCV experience
Ability to drive in all terrains

Experience with heaters and reefers
Professional appearance and good hygiene
Safe driving record verified by a current drivers abstract
Ability to perform all duties without restriction
