This on-call position requires a committed individual ready to make meaningful deliveries for Canadians. You'll start each day sorting mail, handle deliveries by foot and vehicle, and frequently interact with customers. A positive spirit and willingness to work regardless of weather are essential qualities for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sort mail in the depot each morning
• Load a postal vehicle for daily routes
• Walk or drive while delivering items efficiently
• Return to depot to manage incoming mail
• Provide customer assistance throughout the delivery process
Requirements:
• Hold a valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s licence
• Maintain a safe driving record for over 3 years
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
• Available to work in all weather conditions
• Proficient in reading and writing English or French
