Operate an organics cube truck safely while serving local communities through route driving, customer service, and vehicle inspections.
Waste Connections of Canada seeks a safe driver to collect solid waste on specified routes. The work includes reading route sheets, servicing assigned customers, and completing pre-route and post-route inspections. Drivers interact professionally with customers when needed.
Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate garbage trucks on specified collection routes
- Read route sheets and service assigned customers
- Check fluids, safety equipment, and tires
- Complete routine pre-route and post-route vehicle inspections
- Perform other assigned job-related duties
- Hold a valid Class DZ or AZ
- Hold a valid Class 3F or Class 3A
- Maintain a clean driving record
- Have two or more years of local route driving experience
- Pass all pre-employment requirements
