Operate refrigerated vans and tractor-trailers for GFS deliveries in Saskatoon, using safe work habits, attention to detail, and a valid Class 1 License.
Gordon Food Service is hiring a Local Class 1 Delivery Driver for full-time day shifts. The schedule starts between 3AM and 7AM, Monday through Saturday, four days per week. This position combines vehicle inspections, reefer monitoring, product handling, and customer-facing delivery service.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Operate delivery vans and tractor-trailer commercial vehicles
- Use hand trucks to move customer products safely
- Complete Sales Service functions by the ninetieth day
- Manage registers, credits, pickups, and related paperwork
- Valid Class 1 License
- Ability to operate a two-wheeled hand truck
- Ability to handle loads up to 350 pounds
- Ability to handle products averaging 50 pounds
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday schedules
