Shipping & Receiving​/Counter Person

Duties

Prepare and process outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders accurately

Receive incoming stock, unload trucks using pallet jacks, and verify deliveries against purchase orders

Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols

Maintain organized storage of inventory on pallets or shelves, ensuring easy access for order picking and stock replenishment

Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stock replenishment to support warehouse distribution goals

Ensure packaging meets quality standards for shipping, including proper labeling and secure packing techniques

Collaborate with team members to improve workflow efficiency and support overall warehouse operations

Work the front parts counter, supplying and ordering automotive parts for customers

Answer phone calls and emails regarding automotive parts

Skills

Proven experience in warehouse environments with knowledge of shipping & receiving processes

Strong understanding of warehouse distribution practices including stocking, order picking & packing, and load & unload procedures

Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately

CDK or other DMS system experience preferred

General automotive part knowledge and/or willing to learn

Knowledge of packaging standards to ensure products are shipped securely and efficiently

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors effectively
