Application Information Reporting to the warehouse supervisor you will be responsible for performing routine daily warehouse functions such as:
Issuing materials from various warehouse facilities.
Responding to wicket traffic.
Incoming inspections and stocking.
Shipping and receiving.
Inventory cycle counts and data entry.
Loading and off-loading of all general freight.
Using a handheld device and reporting in Excel.
Collaborating to improve work processes.
Providing training and support to junior employees.
Other general warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements of the position:
grade 12 education or equivalent;
a minimum of five years of related work experience in an industrial warehouse environment;
previous experience in various warehouse processes such as job kitting, cycle counting and MRP review;
equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered;
advanced computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel and an ERP system (SAP preferred);
forklift and loader operator certification;
valid Class 5 drivers license;
excellent written and verbal communication skills;
experience using software and mobile technology to perform daily warehouse activities; and
must work a rotational work schedule and commute to site by aircraft.
Assets:
experience working with SAP; and
previous training in first aid, WHMIS, and transportation of dangerous goods.
