Warehouse Assistant​/North

Position Summary

The Warehouse Assistant supports warehouse operations by assisting in put‑away, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods. The role requires attention to detail, physical fitness, and a strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

• Perform put‑away of received goods into the correct storage locations following FIFO practices.
• Pick and pack goods according to pick lists or sales orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare goods for delivery, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
• Assist in stock counting activities, cycle counts, and full stock takes.
• Report any discrepancies, damages, or expired products to the Warehouse Team Leader or Executive.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, stackers, and forklifts (if certified).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and ensure the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles as required.
• Follow instructions from the Warehouse Team Leader and Warehouse Executive.
• Perform any other ad‑hoc duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

• Prior experience in warehouse operations preferred but not essential (training provided).
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift license is an advantage).
• Basic understanding of warehouse systems and processes.
• Able to handle manual handling tasks.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy.
• Willing to work overtime when required.
