Job Description:

Provide comprehensive personal financial counseling services at assigned military installations. Services include one‑on‑one counseling, briefings, presentations, and referrals to external resources, with emphasis on financial education across the military lifecycle.

• Deliver personal financial counseling and management services to service members and families.
• Assist in establishing spending plans for extended absences.
• Develop and distribute informational financial materials.
• Coordinate, publicize, and provide a wide variety of Personal Financial Management classes/workshops on topics such as deployment, career events, and more.
• Respond to requests for age‑appropriate classes or seminars.
• Utilize virtual counseling or other electronic communication methods (web‑based, secure online chat, video‑teleconference) as authorized.
• Manage duty‑to‑warn situations per DoD protocols.
• Communicate with leadership, participate in supervision, and share information regarding trends and issues.
• Participate in regular training, quality improvement committees, and other contract activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree required;
  Associate degree plus 4 years experience or High school diploma plus 6 years experience may be considered.
• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• U.S. citizenship and fluent English required; bilingual English and Spanish may be required.
• Ability to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation.
• Successful completion of the Congressional Mandated Disclosure for Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) process.
• Certification: AFC, CFP, or ChFC.

Salary Minimum: $53,125
Salary Maximum: $84,995
