Financial Analyst

VCI is seeking a Financial Analyst to support contract operations through detailed financial analysis and reporting. This role ensures accuracy in financial transactions and helps maintain compliance with government accounting systems and standards.

Key Tasks:

• Analyze and reconcile financial data using WAWF, CFIS, CRIS, FMSuites, DEAMS, and other systems.

• Review contractor charges and perform weekly reconciliations to Job Order Numbers (JONs).

• Support contract close-out by balancing cost reports and identifying underruns/overruns.

• Provide financial inputs for TIMs, PMRs, and other meetings.

• Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and briefings to support program reviews.

• Maintain monthly logs and contribute to MSRs with financial tasking updates.

• Assist in Power BI dashboard development and data integration.

• Provide expert advice on funding validation and expenditure reconciliation.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of federal financial systems and appropriations.

• Strong analytical skills and experience with financial reporting tools.

• Active Secret Clearance

Experience Required:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in program financial analysis.

• Experience with financial reconciliation and reporting.

• Experience supporting contract financial management in a federal environment.
