The primary purpose of this position is to provide professional & technical expertise in performance of work requiring knowledge & application of information technology enterprise data storage systems encompassing cybersecurity analysis, the design & implementation of enterprise & mission data storage system architecture, & operation of systems.

Salary ranges include local market supplements

• Manages and administers data storage and virtualization systems in support of enterprise and mission systems.
• Supports system security and analysis, assessment, and application of security policies and controls to enterprise and mission data storage and virtualization systems.
• Serves as technical subject matter expert providing technical guidance, advisory support, and assistance on an entire project and/or major phases for broad and varied operations.
• Participates in discussions, meetings, committees or special projects and presents briefings and prepares recommendations and reports.

• All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.
• This posn is subject to provisions of the DoD Priority Placement Program
• Must be registered for Selective Service, see Legal and Regulatory Guide
• Employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, to include evenings, weekends and/or holidays
• Shift work and emergency overtime may be required
• Employee must maintain current certifications
