Target Salary ~$120-150k+

Annual Bonus

To provide all static equipment engineering and design functions to fabrication, drafting and estimating, while interacting with customer engineering and design groups.

• Report to the CEO and manage 2 direct reports
• Lead and grow the engineering team
• Be the technical expert in relation to all shop engineering activities
• Provide direction and coordination to junior engineers in the shop
• Provide weekly reports on status of all projects to project team
• Be versed in the ASME Code Sections I, II, V, VIII Div. I and II and IX, TEMA, ASCE, IBC and UBC
• Proficient in COMPRESS and PV Elite software
• Solid Works familiarity is a plus
• Design vessels and heat exchangers efficiently and accurately
• Review customer specifications and requirements for new vessel inquiries
• Communicate with customers for any questions about design
• Apply engineering design principles to various vessel components
• Finalize vessel design and supply estimating with required information for estimating process
• Create calculation reports from vessel design for customers
• Supply drafting with required calculations and designs to create drawings
• Maintain extensive knowledge of technical documents, drawings, specifications, standards related to the projects and clients
• Conduct pre-fabrication, kick-off and other essential meetings/conferences with clients
• Responsible for providing the technical requisition of all materials on jobs. Coordinate with
• Familiar with fabrication and fabrication techniques
• Provide technical customer contact when required
• Provide direction or concurrence with technical aspects of non-conformance and manufacturing needs
• Work within a project team environment
• Maintain and organize all project related documentation in accordance with company policy
• Plan and organize work that follows a defined process
• Work independently and make technical decisions based

• Extensive experience in Industrial Engineering
• Strong ASME Code, API 650, Section VIII Division 1 equipment
• Engineering Design Tools (mix of COMPRESS, PV Elite, and Solid Works)
• Experience leading or managing teams
• Demonstrated ability to be innovative, creative and make independent decisions
• Comfortable and able to complete a background check and drug screening (including cannabis)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Experience working with clients / customers
• PE certificate
