Our Drug Information portfolio underpins critical workflows across health systems, pharmacies, and technology partners worldwide.

About the Role

We’re seeking a Senior Product Manager I – Drug Information to shape the next generation of integrated drug information decision support solutions. This role is responsible for full-stack product management of innovative drug content delivery and decision support features that improve clinical decisions, efficiency, and patient safety. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate customer needs into high-impact product capabilities – helping healthcare professionals make informed, data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

Lead Product Roadmap & Execution

  • Translating qualitative and quantitative customer insights into clear product requirements and prioritized roadmaps.

  • Prioritizing product backlog, ensuring backlog is transparent and understood by stakeholders.

  • Working closely with product development on execution of backlog items to ensure deliverables meet requirements.

  • Partnering closely with Technology, Content, Commercial, and Clinical teams to deliver product releases that meet quality, usability, and performance standards.

  • Responding to customer support issues and enhancement requests.

  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and data integrity requirements relevant to drug information systems.

Customer Focus & Market Insight

  • Engaging directly with pharmacists, clinicians, and health IT customers to deeply understand their workflows, challenges, and emerging needs.

  • Maintaining awareness of market trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes shaping the drug information landscape.

  • Segmenting customers and identifying opportunities to tailor product features for specific user groups or markets.

Drive Strategy and Measurable Impact

  • Supporting the development of product vision and strategy aligned with Elsevier’s Clinical Solutions objectives.

  • Using data‑driven insights and KPIs to track adoption, engagement, and customer value.

  • Developing and communicating business cases for investment, grounded in commercial and clinical impact.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Working with Product Marketing and Commercial teams to prepare go-to-market materials and enable successful launch and adoption of new features.

  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders across Technology, UX, Operations, and Customer Success to ensure smooth execution and continuous improvement.

  • Serving as a key liaison for feedback loops—both gathering insights from customers and sharing product direction internally.

Qualifications:
  • Have 6-8 years of experience in product management and/or healthcare technology.

  • Proven success delivering products users love, ideally in clinical or health system contexts.

  • Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills.

  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7, SNOMED, RxNorm, etc.) and analytics tools/platforms. Experience with the use of product management tools including Jira and Aha! is a plus. Prior use of Aha! is a plus.
