What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)- Collaborate with teams to execute SAP data archiving projects, enhancing system performance and compliance.
- Lead ECC data archiving, decommissioning, and destruction activities, ensuring adherence to retention policies.
- Analyze database growth and develop efficient archiving strategies across SAP modules.
- Design, build, and implement archiving objects within SAP environments, including ECC and S/4
HANA. - Schedule and monitor archiving jobs, maintaining logs and preparing archiving statistics.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in SAP, including at least 3 years of ABAP development experience.
- Participation in at least three complete SAP archival implementations.
- Proven ability to configure retention and audit policies in compliance with legal requirements.
- Knowledge of data destruction methods and experience with Open Text document management.
- Practical expertise in SAP Data Archiving framework, Archive Link, DaRT, and SAP ILM.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to evaluate business problems and propose effective solutions.
- Experience in working collaboratively as part of a team.
