Junior Accountant
The role of a Junior Accountant at our company is ideal for individuals with a strong interest in finance and accounting, who are looking to kick-start their career in this field. We are a leading company based in Sayhat, Saudi Arabia and we are specifically seeking Indian candidates who are proficient in English.
As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various financial tasks and processes, under the supervision of our senior accountants. This is an entry-level position that does not require any prior experience, making it an excellent opportunity for freshers or those looking to switch careers.
Key Responsibilities- Assisting with preparing financial statements, reports and budgets
- Conducting data entry and maintaining accurate records of financial transactions
- Reconciling bank statements and other accounts on a regular basis
- Assisting with accounts payable and receivable tasks
- Supporting the preparation of tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax laws
- Contributing to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
- Assisting with audits by providing necessary documentation and information
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written) is essential
- Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards and laws
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
