Educational Requirement
- Graduate from a recognized medical school
- Or equivalent higher qualification in Ophthalmology
- Specialized post-qualification experience in General Ophthalmology in a recognized center as follows:
- Minimum of five (5) years (Category A+B hospitals)
- Minimum of three (3) years (Category C+D hospitals)
- Of which 2 years must be at Senior Specialist level in General Ophthalmology
- Desirably with experience in a special branch of Ophthalmology
