About This Role
Main purpose of the role:
We welcome applications from UAV Sensor Operator Instructors for our Basic UAS training delivery program in Saudi Arabia. The UAV Sensor Operator Instructor will work as part of a team to provide academic and practical instruction in classroom environment. In this role you will use your extensive aviation experience, training experience, and varied computer skills to develop, deliver, and maintain multi-media and computer-assisted courseware packages.
Provides training to customers near Al Majmah’ah, Saudi Arabia. Delivers RPA system training in areas of expertise using a variety of instructional training aids in the classroom environment including the use of multimedia presentations (videos, slides, Power Point), system components and crew and group-based simulators.
- Current/previously rated military sensor operator or with equivalent civil sensor/mission operator experience
- Previous experience as an instructor Sensor Operator (USAF specialty code “K”, RAF Q Qualifications or civilian equivalent).
- Minimum of 1000 hours total flying/operating time (simulated and/or live).
- Minimum of 2 years of instructional experience.
- Ability to read, analyse, and interpret the most complex documents. Will be required to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries and feedback.
- Ability to generate effective oral and written presentations and proposals on complex subjects.
- Experience with a broad spectrum of sensor capabilities and with a broad range of UAV types, sizes, roles, complexity.
- Flying/operating time on(s).
- Instructional experience on fixed wing UAV types.
- Ability to maintain cultural awareness and good relations with the customer.
- Ability to adapt and innovate.
- Ability to concentrate and work in a multicultural/multiagency environment.
- Ability to maintain strong customer orientation under adverse circumstances.
- Ability to respond to customer questions by carrying out research, leveraging team capabilities and delivering to an accurate and timely answer.
- Ability to deal with some complex problems unsupervised.
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an employment visa for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
- Work environment and physical demands:
Work in a Defense & Security environment with appropriate dress, grooming and bearing standards. Work in a classroom environment.
