Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Substation Protection Engineer to contribute to our team in Saudi Arabia. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of power system protection principles, relay settings, and substation automation. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, engineering, testing, and implementing protection systems for high‑voltage substations. Collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams, the engineer will ensure the reliable and secure operation of our electrical power systems.
RequirementsKey Expertise
- Stability testing, Final Trip Test, and Live Substation operations
- Working with ABB, MICOM, and SIEMENS relays
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in power systems
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in substation protection engineering
- Familiarity with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) Standards
- Strong understanding of power system protection principles, relay coordination, and substation automation
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Non‑citizen applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering awarded at least 5 years ago
