Planning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project, ensuring alignment with project milestones and deadlines.
• Conduct resource allocation analysis to optimize productivity and minimize delays, adjusting schedules as necessary based on ongoing project developments.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies, ensuring projects stay on track and within budget.
• Prepare detailed progress reports and presentations for stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and potential bottlenecks.
• Facilitate communication between various teams and departments, ensuring everyone is informed of schedule changes and project requirements.
• Analyze historical project data to improve future planning processes and enhance accuracy in forecasting timelines.
• Monitor project expenditures and resource utilization, providing recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements.
• Support the procurement process by providing input on timeline constraints and resource availability, ensuring timely acquisition of materials and services.
• Conduct schedule risk assessments and develop contingency plans to address potential project delays or disruptions.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with the latest planning tools and industry best practices.

• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and make informed decisions.
