Responsibilities
- Spearhead the design and development of complex mechanical systems ensuring optimal performance, reliability and manufacturability.
- Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers fostering a collaborative environment and promoting professional growth.
- Conduct thorough engineering analyses, simulations and calculations to validate designs and identify potential issues early on.
- Oversee the selection of materials, components and manufacturing processes considering cost, performance and sustainability.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams-electrical, software, manufacturing-to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, drawings and reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the product lifecycle from concept to production and beyond.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations and safety requirements throughout all design phases.
- Possesses a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
- Holds a Professional Engineer (PE) license or is actively pursuing licensure.
- Exhibits strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, FEA).
- Has a proven track record of leading engineering projects from concept to completion.
- Demonstrates excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Shows experience in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Good command of English language.
