Job Description
Position Title: Structural Service Engineer
Department: Aftermarket / Field Services
Location: Dammam Industrial City, KSA
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities- Perform structural inspections and assessments of rig components such as masts, substructures, and cranes.
- Carry out inspections and prepare technical reports in accordance with NOV standards.
- Identify fatigue or corrosion issues.
- Review repair procedures, structural calculations, and modification plans.
- Coordinate with field service teams, engineering, and customers for inspection findings and repair execution.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and inspection standards (API, NOV PI4G, ISO, etc.).
- Support preparation of documentation packages.
- Bachelor's degree / diploma in Structural, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in structural inspection, maintenance, or rig fabrication/aftermarket support.
- Good knowledge of NDT methods, structural drawings, and international standards (API, ISO, DNV).
- Strong reporting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to rig sites and fabrication yards as required.
