Role Overview
Arcadis is the world’s leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. The Intelligent Mobility Services (IMS) Team is seeking a Transportation Engineer with at least 1 year of experience to join the Atlanta, GA team. The engineer will assist in the development and design of highway/interstate resurfacing and striping projects, and may take on various roles such as technical design, production lead, task leader, and support for the Project Manager and lead engineers.
Responsibilities- Assist in developing project scopes, budgets, and resurfacing and striping plans.
- Maintain project schedules and ensure compliance with Arcadis and client quality and safety standards.
- Provide clear oral and written communication in client meetings, presentations, and written reports.
- Support multiple unique assignments concurrently.
- 1+ year experience in civil or infrastructure design and construction engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Proficiency with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Microstation, InRoads, and CAiCE.
- Familiarity with GDOT design standards and policies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Active participation in regional and/or national professional associations.
