Electrical QC Engineer - HV Transmission & Substation

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Quality Engineer to join our team working on high-voltage transmission line projects - both overhead (OHL) and underground (UG) - as well as substation electrical works across Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and integrity of all electrical work, including equipment, materials, and workmanship, while verifying compliance with applicable electrical codes, standards, and project specifications.

• Conduct quality inspections and assessments for electrical works related to overhead and underground transmission lines.
• Oversee quality control of electrical installations and systems within substations.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) standards and project requirements.
• Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues during construction and commissioning phases.
• Maintain accurate quality documentation and reporting.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve quality-related concerns.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical quality control for OHL/UG and substation projects.
• Familiarity with SEC standards and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, equipment, and quality control practices.
• Proven ability to identify and resolve electrical issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and engineering software tools.

• Must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering awarded at least 5 years ago.

• Valid Saudi driving license.
• Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership.
• Prior SEC approval or submittal is preferred.
