Location: Ḩaraḑ

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified NDT Level III Engineer / Inspector to lead our Non-Destructive Testing operations. In this role, you will serve as the ultimate technical authority for our NDT program. You will be responsible for developing testing procedures, ensuring compliance with international codes and standards, and mentoring and certifying Level I and Level II technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procedure Development: Write, review, approve, and maintain NDT procedures, techniques, and work instructions in compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASME, AWS, ASTM, API, EN, NAS
    410).
  • Technical Leadership: Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) to resolve complex inspection anomalies and interpret advanced test data.
  • Personnel

    Qualification:

    Oversee the training, examination, and certification program for all Level I and Level II NDT personnel.
  • Method Selection: Evaluate engineering drawings and components to determine the most effective NDT methods and equipment for quality control.
  • Auditing & Compliance: Conduct internal and vendor audits to ensure NDT operations align with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, Nadcap).
  • Client & Regulatory Liaison: Act as the primary technical point of contact during third-party regulatory audits and client technical reviews.

Certifications: Active ASNT, ISO 9712, or NAS
410 Level III certification in at least two major methods (e.g., UT, RT, MT, PT, ET).

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field is preferred (equivalent hands-on industrial experience will be considered).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of active experience as a certified Level II technician prior to achieving Level III status.
  • Proven experience writing technical procedures and training personnel.

Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of materials science, manufacturing/fabrication processes, and defect mechanisms.

Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills, clear technical writing ability, and excellent instructional skills for teaching junior staff.
