The primary location is Al Khobar, KSA.

Penspen  is looking for an experienced, Senior Mechanical Engineer-Rotating to join our engineering team for a major Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) project.

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 12+ Years experience within Oil & Gas Sector.
• At least 8 years within the field of Mechanical Rotating for major Oil & Gas /Petrochemical Projects.
• Previous exposure to projects at construction & commissioning phase.
• Computer Literate with MS Packages, particularly Excel proficient.
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards and experience in major brownfield FEED/EPC projects will be an advantage for the candidate.

An experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer-Rotating to join our engineering team for a major Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) project.

Lead the rotating equipment engineering activities for FEED, detailed design, and EPC phases of oil & gas projects.

Develop data sheets, specifications, and requisitions for rotating equipment such as compressors, pumps, turbines, blowers, and packaged systems.

Review vendor offers, perform technical bid evaluations, and participate in vendor meetings and design reviews.

Ensure compliance with API, ASME, ISO, and other relevant international standards.

Coordinate with process, piping, instrumentation, and electrical disciplines for equipment integration.

Review vendor documents (GA drawings, datasheets, performance curves, etc.) and ensure timely approval.

Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases.

Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, and design review workshops.

Mentor junior engineers and review their deliverables for quality and accuracy.

Support client and internal audits and ensure adherence to project quality and safety standards. Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards and experience in major brownfield FEED/EPC projects will be an advantage for the candidate.
