PositionThe inspector will perform advanced visual inspection, dimensional measurement, depth gauge measurement, and Shore A durometer hardness inspection, ensuring all inspection findings conform to engineering drawings, technical specifications, and product definition data.
SQA Services is hiring immediately in Tallassee, Alabama for Level II Mechanical and Composites Inspector
.
This is a full-time 1-month contract with possibility of extension. Airfare, hotel, rental car, and meal reimbursement. Candidates must be available to start immediately.
Schedule:
3rd shift (11:00pm - 5:00am)
- Perform visual, dimensional, depth gauge, and Shore A durometer inspections on composite panels.
- Verify compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Document inspection results in MES and other digital quality systems.
- Composite Panel Inspection & Verification
- Quality Documentation & Reporting
- Operational Performance & Throughput
- Minimum 5+ years of experience inspecting composite structures (Level II equivalent).
- Demonstrated expertise in visual composite inspection, identifying typical composite defects and failure modes.
- Proficiency in dimensional measurement using hand inspection tools.
- Experience conducting Shore A or Shore D durometer hardness measurements; must be able to certify on-site training requirements
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Experience documenting findings in MES or digital quality systems.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to create clear, concise, and accurate reports
- Must be able to meet ITAR requirements
- Must be willing to undergo a background check
- MRB, repair, or rework inspection experience.
- High-volume production inspection background.
