Specialist – Quality Assurance (Operations) at NADEC!
Location:
Haradh, Eastern Region, Saudi Arabia
NADEC is looking for a proactive and quality-focused Specialist – Quality Assurance (Operations) to support quality assurance activities across our manufacturing operations and ensure products consistently meet quality, food safety, and regulatory standards.
This role is ideal for a quality professional with experience in food, dairy, laboratory, FMCG, or manufacturing environments who is passionate about quality excellence, continuous improvement, and operational performance.
What You'll Do- Support the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance processes and quality control programs across manufacturing operations.
- Conduct inspections, sampling, and testing activities to verify compliance with product specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
- Investigate quality issues, non-conformities, and customer complaints, and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Analyze quality data and trends to identify improvement opportunities and support decision-making.
- Maintain quality records, documentation, and reports in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in internal and external audits and support audit readiness activities.
- Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and other stakeholders to improve product quality and process efficiency.
- Support supplier quality evaluations and qualification activities when required.
- Assist in the development and review of quality procedures, work instructions, and testing methods.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, food safety standards, and company quality policies.
- Support calibration and maintenance activities for quality control equipment and laboratory instruments.
- Prepare quality performance reports and present findings, trends, and improvement recommendations.
- Promote a culture of quality, food safety, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Laboratory Operations, Food Manufacturing, Dairy, FMCG, or a related industry.
- Understanding of quality management systems, food safety requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO standards, and quality auditing practices.
Experience in inspections, testing, quality investigations, and root cause analysis. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality excellence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
