To provide an objective investigation into criminal acts within KJO sites and facilities to protect KJO industrial security rules and regulations, KJO property and personnel from unlawful acts

Applies approved section policies, processes, and procedures and monitors adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner
Day- to-day operationsApplies the day-to-day operations assigned for the Investigations section to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures
InvestigationsProtects escalation of impact from unlawful acts within KJO sites by restraining persons in contravention of rules and regulations
Investigates circumstances of unlawful cases, predominantly thefts and violence-related incidents, questions persons concerned, takes statements and examines scene of crime to obtain clues and other evidence
Investigates and confers with local police authorities on security matters related to KJO employees suspected or accused of unlawful violations
Incident Reporting and confidentialityWrites regular incident reports from the receipt of a complaint to the final submission to senior department managers and HR to ensure that both the Manager (ISD) and supervisors of the relevant parties are kept updated on the progress of the investigation
Ensures that all investigations conducted are done with absolute confidentiality and do not impinge on employees civil rights or magnify the impact of the incident under a possible scenario that sensitive witness and other evidence leaks out
ReportingPrepares section reports in a timely and accurate manner to meet Company and section requirements, policies and standards
Safety, Quality & EnvironmentComplies with all relevant safety, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
