BICSI Certified Installer

Key Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic structured cabling systems in line with BICSI and TIA/EIA standards.
• Install and configure data network equipment (active and passive components) such as switches, routers, patch panels, and racks.
• Carry out UPS and power systems installation to support ICT/ELV infrastructure.
• Execute ELV system installations (CCTV, access control, fire alarm integration, etc.) as per project requirements.
• Perform cable routing, dressing, labeling, and proper documentation.
• Conduct certification testing using industry-standard tools (e.g., Fluke).
• Troubleshoot cabling and system issues to ensure seamless operation.
• Ensure all installations comply with health, safety, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and team members to ensure timely project delivery.
• Maintain and secure tools, equipment, and materials required for installations.

• BICSI Installer Certification (Installer 1, Installer 2 Copper, or Installer 2 Fiber).
• Proven experience in structured cabling, ICT/ELV installations, UPS, and power systems.
• Strong understanding of data networks, passive & active components.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in using cable testing and termination tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Physically fit to perform installation tasks (climbing, lifting, working in tight spaces).
• Willingness to travel and work flexible schedules.

• Additional certifications in ICT/ELV systems, safety (OSHA/NEBOSH), or vendor‑specific cabling systems.
• Hands‑on experience with data centers, telecom infrastructure, or enterprise ICT systems.
• Knowledge of integration of ELV systems with IT infrastructure.
