Location: NajrānVirtucruit is partnering with a leading mining company in Saudi Arabia to appoint a Software Engineer within the Drilling Department.
The ideal candidate shall be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions that support drilling operations, improve data management, and enhance operational efficiency. The role involves developing applications, troubleshooting software issues, integrating systems, and collaborating with technical teams to deliver reliable digital solutions that support business and operational requirements.
This appointment offers an opportunity for a technically skilled software engineer to contribute to the digital transformation and optimization of drilling operations in a dynamic mining environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops software applications supporting drilling operations.Designs systems for drilling data collection and reporting.Maintains databases and backend systems.Integrates field data systems with office platforms.Troubleshoots software issues and system errors.Improves system performance and reliability.Supports automation of operational reporting processes.Collaborates with drilling teams to define system requirements.Tests, deploys, and maintains software updates.Ensures data security and system integrity.Documents on software architecture and functionality.Supports data visualization tools and dashboards.Enhances usability and user experience of systems.Monitors system performance and usage.Provides technical support and training to users.Ensure compliance with IT policies and standards.Develops APIs and integration solutions.Maintains backup and recovery systems.Supports innovation and digital transformation initiatives.Performs any additional duties as assigned.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE,
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
