The Fitness Instructor is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and engaging fitness training sessions to clients or members. The role includes guiding individuals or groups through exercise routines, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and ensuring proper use of fitness equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct individual and group fitness training sessions
- Design customized workout programs based on clients’ fitness levels and goals
- Demonstrate correct exercise techniques and ensure safety at all times
- Monitor clients’ progress and provide motivation and guidance
- Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of gym equipment
- Enforce gym rules, safety standards, and hygiene policies
- Assist members with fitness-related inquiries
- Perform basic fitness assessments when required
- Certified Fitness Instructor / Personal Trainer (recognized certification preferred)
- Proven experience as a Fitness Instructor or Gym Trainer
- Good knowledge of exercise techniques, fitness programs, and body mechanics
Ability to conduct group classes and one-on-one training - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physically fit and energetic
- First Aid / CPR certification is an advantage
Formal education in Physical Education or a related discipline
