Airbus Americas, Inc is looking for a Fleet Manager to join our team based in Mobile, AL
.

Airbus is seeking an experienced and strategic Fleet Manager to oversee, optimize, and manage the operational lifecycle of our designated aircraft fleets. In this role, you will serve as the primary interface between operations, engineering, and external strategic suppliers. You will be responsible for ensuring maximum fleet availability, compliance with international aviation regulations, and driving continuous improvement in fleet performance and cost-efficiency.

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the Fleet Manager will be responsible for ensuring service levels and value for money are realized for the entire fleet of the assets within the Mobile Manufacturing Site. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for managing third party service providers, vehicles, drivers and other assets for fleet transportation services. Manage the implementation of fleet management software to streamline vehicle fleet operations and maintenance.

Oversee the purchase or lease of all vehicles and see to it that the program is right-sized to the needs of the campus.

Our Engineers at the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing facility take our aircraft from concept to customer delivery – working with production teams on every aspect of assembly from managing technical information, quality control, maintenance tasks and health & safety – along flowlines and flight lines. On ‘Airbus Way’ you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. • Maintenance & Engineering Focal Point:
  As the focal point, be accountable by working closely with engineering, quality control, and production teams to plan major maintenance blocks, retrofits, and modifications minimizing operational disruption.
