- Inventory Management: Receive and inspect incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and quality. Maintain organized and accurate inventory records using manual logs or digital systems. Conduct periodic stock counts to reconcile physical inventory with records.
- Storage and Organization: Organize items systematically to ensure easy access and retrieval. Label and categorize stored items appropriately. Ensure that storage areas are clean, safe, and in compliance with company policies.
- Dispatch and Distribution: Prepare and issue materials or equipment as per requisitions. Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of requested items. Document all dispatched items accurately for future reference.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Identify and report low-stock or overstocked items. Highlight discrepancies or damaged goods to supervisors for corrective action. Suggest improvements to optimize inventory management processes.
- Compliance and Safety: Follow safety and security protocols to prevent damage, loss, or accidents. Adhere to company policies, quality standards, and relevant regulations.
- Coordination:Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and project teams for efficient material handling. Provide regular updates on stock levels, issues, and improvements.
