• Greet customers and serve as a primary point of contact throughout the repair process.
• Answer customer calls, identify service needs, and coordinate vehicles and equipment into the shop.
• Create and maintain accurate repair orders, including customer concerns, requested repairs, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare repair estimates and obtain customer authorization for work and changes in repair scope.
• Keep customers informed of repair status, cost changes, and expected completion times.
• Work closely with the Service Manager and technicians to prioritize and schedule work.
• Coordinate with Parts to ensure required parts are identified and available to keep repairs moving.
• Monitor open repair orders and follow up on jobs to help reduce delays and vehicle downtime.
• Review completed repair orders for accuracy and prepare work for timely customer invoicing.
• Assist with customer questions and concerns and help resolve issues professionally.
• Maintain accurate records and support warranty documentation when required.
• Maintain a professional, organized, clean, and safe work environment.

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• 2+ years of Service Advisor, Service Writer, or similar experience in an automotive, truck, fleet, or equipment service environment.
• Experience preparing repair estimates and working with repair orders.

• Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple jobs in a fast paced environment.
• Comfortable working with technicians, Parts personnel, customers, and management.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and internet-based applications.
• Commercial truck, transport refrigeration, diesel, fleet, or dealership experience is a plus.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to work additional hours when business needs require.
