Job Summary:
The Member Services Representative will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.
Available shifts:
Full time weekday closer 5:00 pm‑11:30 pm and part‑time weekends 1:00 pm‑7:00 pm.
- Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
- Handle front desk activities, including answering phones, checking members into the system, processing new member sign‑ups, taking prospective members on tours, facilitating updates to member accounts, responding to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner, and maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
- Customer service background preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- A passion for fitness and health.
- Upbeat and positive attitude.
- Punctuality and reliability are a must.
- Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co‑workers, exceeding members’ expectations.
- Strong listening skills with the ability to empathize and problem‑solve.
- Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Continual standing and walking during the shift.
- Continual talking in person or on the phone during the shift.
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 lb.
- Occasional exposure to toxic chemicals during the shift.
All staff will also receive a free Black Card membership after 90 days of employment.
As a Core Development & Management employee you are eligible for benefits if you are regularly scheduled and work at least 30 hours per week.
