6.5 hours per day (7:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.), Monday through Friday, for 172 contract days per school year.

• Assist student(s) with special needs in the classroom (behavior management, social skills, crisis intervention and instruction in basic skills).
• Supervise special education student(s) to ensure safety.
• Assist with collecting and monitoring of student progress data.

• High School diploma.
• Highly Qualified per MDE requirements for special education paraprofessionals.
• Acceptance of students' disabilities and limitations.
• Must be able to lift, pull, or move a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Accepts direction from supervising teacher(s) and is willing to work as a team.
• Attach passing exam scores from either the Para Pra / Para Educator or college transcripts to your application.

Salary: $19.35 per hour based on the 2023‑2025 Paraprofessional Agreement Level V, Step
