Ichor Systems is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our innovative team in Sauk Rapids, MN. Reporting to the Senior Director of Engineering
, you’ll play a key role in designing and testing mechanical equipment and systems that support precision machining and fluid delivery solutions for high‑tech industries.

• Design mechanical products based on customer specifications in a precision machining environment.
• Create detailed CAD models and drawings using Solid Works.
• Select materials and components for production and build prototypes for testing.
• Analyze test data and refine designs for performance and reliability.
• Develop control systems and support production monitoring.
• Generate engineering documentation including BOMs, schematics, and technical reports.
• Research feasibility of designs based on customer and market requirements.
• Design test equipment and develop testing procedures.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to resolve customer issues and support sales efforts.
• Maintain detailed design history and ensure quality standards are met.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• 2+ years of mechanical design experience.
• Proficiency in Solid Works and other CAD tools.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with FEA, CFD, FMEA, tolerance analysis, and design for manufacturing preferred.
• Familiarity with fluid delivery systems or Ultra High Purity industry is a plus.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Salary Range (MN‑based candidates): $84,300 – $143,300 annually
